Pokémon Journeys replaces Tatsuhisa Suzuki with SAO star amid health-related hiatus

Amid Tatsuhisa Suzuki’s recent hiatus from the entertainment industry, Pokémon Journeys enlisted SAO star Yoshitsugu Matsuoka to voice Raihan.

Japanaese voice actor, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, has exited stage right for now to take a hiatus from the entertainment industry to better his health earlier this year. He also offered to step down from his role in Netflix’s Ultraman anime. Though, one instance that might turn heads is that Suzuki is going to continue to play Makoto Tachibana in the Free! franchise.

It’s hard to tell if Matsouka will be the new mainstay Raihan in Pokémon Journeys or if the old actor will come back when or if he returns from his hiatus.
