Mid-last year, it was revealed that romcom manga series, My Senpai is Annoying, was slated to receive an anime adaptation. Just yesterday, King Amusement Creative jumped forward to release seven new character trailers to introduce fans to the workforce.
Primarily, the series follows Futaba Igarashi, a junior in her company as she continues to find her superior to be for a lack of a better word, annoying. Each of the trailers display the character’s personality and gives us a taste for the Japanese voice actors.
Of course, typically, we’re going to get to see her interact with her muscular superior, Harumi Takeda, who she finds annoying but also having feelings for.
We also get to introduced to Souta Kazama, an emotionless worker who spends his free time gaming.
The popular girl among the workplace, Touko Sakurai, will also play a role while Yuto Sakurai was introduced as her younger brother with most of his trailer packed with him getting nervou, screaming, and getting scared. All in all, seemingly a nervous-wreck.
Practical joke loving and Futaba’s childhood friend, Natsumi Kurobe, also finds her own trailer.
Mona Tsukishiro is the last in the trailers. Her personality seems akin to the “weirdo” of the company and as Funimation describes her, she has an “odd way of speaking.”
The first episode of My Senpai is Annoying will air on October 9.
